Hearing Kyran's confidence in his voice, Aillos decided not to pry on his plans. Besides, he had no plans to help, so asking Kyran how he planned to approach the master of the underground auction might give him the wrong impression. Moreover, Aillos might want to know Kyran's current objectives, but he had no intention of providing assistance.

At most, he could provide some advice and point Kyran on the right track.

While Aillos's thoughts might seem arrogant, his past experiences with Lucian couldn't be ignored. This history would undoubtedly make his advice valuable to Kyran.

It was a bitter realization that Aillos was currently limited in his actions.

When the news of what happened to the Blade Dancer Clan reached him, knowing that Kyran had left because he had gone to check on some people who happened to be in the Blade Dancer plane, Aillos already had a foreboding.

Though the truth of what happened remained unclear, Lucian's declaration that he was targeting Ruin and the Void Master already confirmed that the Higher Realm would soon experience a huge change.

In fact, the changes had already started when the Tower of the Ancients opened ahead of time. Now that the existence of the Void Master was revealed to the Higher Realm, it would only be a matter of time before all key figures started to connect the Void Master to the anomaly that happened in the Tower of the Ancients.

When that happened, the Dragon Clan would be implicated again because their representatives were the only ones who survived without suffering any injuries.

For the record, the representatives Kyran spared still suffered some minor injuries when he made them fall unconscious before throwing them out of their portal.

Once the Dragon Clan was implicated, keeping Kyran's identity a secret from the rest of the clan would already be impossible. Aillos would then be forced to make a decision— wash their hands clean off Kyran and his clan or protect him.

To be honest, Aillos did not want the situation to reach that point before making a decision. However, without understanding Kyran's objectives, he would have difficulty deciding on his own course of action. Thus, interrogating Kyran while the situation was still in its infantile stage would also be beneficial to Aillos, though he would not offer Kyran assistance.

"Then that's fine," Aillos said after a short pause. "Just avoid causing another incident like in the Junction Port and the Blade Dancer Plane."

"...I know," Kyran could not help but frown at Aillos's subtle jab.

What happened in those two locations became an excessive move because the Fates interfered with Kyran's plans. In fact, he realized that the moment Ruin told him that the Fates were influencing the fates of the people around him.

Kyran contemplated telling Aillos about the Fates but ultimately decided against it. Telling him about their interference would only make it appear as an excuse. In the end, Kyran is the one at fault for not realizing that the Fates are trying to mess with him by manipulating the others.

"Let's leave it at that." Aillos decided to end their conversation at that point because Kyran still had a lot to do before his clan arrived in the Higher Realm.

Aillos had things to do himself. Since he did not want to keep his clan in the dark about Kyran's identity and the real score of the situation in the Higher Realm, he needed to gather everyone and address all of those as soon as possible.

By explaining it to them at this moment, they would have time to adjust and plan things out while Lucian was still occupied following the 'Void Master' and Ruin's trail.

"We'll talk again when everyone is present."

Aillos did not say who everyone was, but Kyran more or less guessed that they were the key figures of both the Dragon Clan and the Regis Clan.

'...Key figures, huh...' Kyran thought and sighed after recalling something.

"I have something to say about the Regis Terram's rules."

Aillos smiled wryly, and without giving Kyran a chance to explain, he said, "You plan on inviting people who are not part of the Regis Clan."

Seemingly expecting Aillos to get what he wanted to say, Kyran replied unfazed, "Yes. There are quite a few who are not part of the Regis Clan. They can be considered affiliated to the Regis Family because of me, but... they did not pledge their allegiance." ℝÄꞐồ𐌱Ёʂ

"The rules of the Regis Terram state that whoever they considered as part of their clan could enter as permitted. You don't need my permission to make them cross. Your Patriarch can do that."

"But what about this side? The only ones who can enter inside are those with dragon blood running through their veins, right?"

"That's right."

"Then..."

"Looks like you are still exhausted."

"...What?"

"Because you failed to understand the rules when you've clearly stated it."

"..."

Myst, who had been staying quiet by the side, seemed to have realized Aillos's point, heaved a sigh, and said, "Young Master, since they are coming from the inside the Regis Terram, then it can't be considered as entering, right?"

Kyran stopped short at Myst's words.

That was right. Why did he fail to understand that part?

"Right," Kyran finally agreed after a short pause. "Sorry, I missed that."

Leif eyed Kyran from the side and said, "You've been using your magic to warp us around. It's only a given you'd be exhausted."

"..."

"You've made a good point there, Oceanus's daughter," Aillos said with a wry smile. "Let's change location and have him rest for a bit."

"I'll rest later—."

"Rest now," Aillos cut Kyran midsentence and added, "I'll introduce Alta to her before sending her here."

Kyran frowned, "Why are you suddenly protective of Neah."

"You're imagining things. In any case, I'm sure you already noticed that she is not here."

"I did, and I was just about to ask where you sent her."

"Don't worry; she is safe. No one in the Dragon plane, especially among the dragons, would dare touch her— not on my watch."

Kyran suddenly had a strange vision of Aillos and Euan having a staring match because of Cyneah.

"..."

"Besides, the energy around here is not good for her. Though I can filter the energy around her, there is no guarantee that she will not absorb Coelus's energy. I deemed it best for her to leave the site and stay in a safer location."

"She is not in the palace."

"I did say safer location— I never said anything about sending her to the palace."

"..."

Leif was at a loss. She did not expect to see Kyran to be spoken by Aillos like this. She found Kyran to be a very cautious and in-control person; thus, seeing him being messed around by Aillos because of his lapses was quite refreshing.

Obviously, this only happened because Kyran was exhausted. She downplayed it by saying that he was only exhausted because of his magic usage, but she knew he had not been getting proper rest since he transported the Blade Dancer Clan in the unnamed plane.

Leif knew this because during Kyran's 'rest,' she would still sense some activity inside his room. It was obvious that even while resting, he was still doing something.

Alta shared the same thoughts because, as far as she was concerned, Kyran's definition of rest was staying in his room while working on some of his personal matters.

Alta and Leif did not know what Kyran was doing in his room. But whatever it was, it was not light work.

"Auto-one is still on top of things regarding the new array. Raya and the others are doing a good job in working Ducal and the rest to their bones," Aillos continued when Kyran did not respond. "There is no immediate matter that you must attend to now."

He paused for a brief moment before continuing, "Though I contradicted what I said earlier, with what I just said, the point is, you are allowed to rest."

Kyran tilted his head slightly, looking toward the side, "Your people don't seem to agree with you."

"You don't have to worry about that."

"..."

"Besides," Aillos looked at Myst with a slight smile, "I heard from Ames that you have done great work in creating the gate inside the Regis Terram. I'm sure your addition will greatly improve the new array's creation."

"He also needs to rest."

"And he will. A couple of hours will suffice. As I said, no immediate matter needs attention at the moment."

Kyran frowned at the realization that Aillos was practically telling him to get lost— at least until he had rested.

"Then I will make sure the Young Master gets proper rest, Milord."

"Good," Aillos nodded his head, content at Myst's response. "I'll take Alta with me, and as for Oceanus's daughter..."

"Please, call me Leif, Milord."

"Then, Leif, would you like to come with us or stay with them?"

"Please allow me to join you. I wanted to be better acquainted with Lady Sisi."

"Very well."

Without giving Kyran a chance to protest, Aillos took Alta and Leif out of the tent with him.

Once Kyran and Myst were left alone, they exchanged glances, the latter giving the former a wry smile.

"Don't give me that look, Young Master. You brought this upon yourself by making such a mistake."

"..."

"I know you wanted to see the Young Mistress as soon as possible, but your health is also important. Besides, if she realized you've neglected yourself again, she will be furious."

"...Since when did you become an expert on how Neah will react?"

"Since the time you left the Young Mistress without saying anything in the Lower Realm."

"..."

Myst smiled upon seeing Kyran's indifference falter. Not wanting to get ahead of himself, he chose to stop there and ushered the latter to rest on the bed.
