Outside, Natasha whistled when she saw the car Adam came to take her with. She was in no way a car connoisseur but she could recognize something expensive when she saw it at first glance. Her eyes had been trained to the way of the rich already.
"Did you rob a bank or something?"
"Not yet, I guess…"
"Not yet huh… Hah. Indeed."
Natasha suddenly remembered that Adam was indeed not someone who would be strapped for money like he was in the past.
There were many cases about the damages Adam had caused in his malefic run as The Magician but since he was working for Yui, his fortune would be in the millions at the very least.
"So. Take a seat, my lady."
"Thank you, kind sir."
She smiled when Adam opened the door for her and took a seat as she was asked. This kind of chivalry was something many did not appreciate nowadays but since she had been raised with many traditional views in mind, she had many expectations regarding how a standard dating scenario should be.
So far, Adam was checking all the boxes in her mind and some more. She was truly feeling special at the moment, special and definitely loved.
"It's still quite soon. What is the plan for the day?"
Once Adam took the driver seat next to her and started the car, she asked, expectation filling her mind. She usually wasn't one to care about fancy things. However, this time around, just for this very day, she wished to be spoiled and treated like a princess by the man she liked.
It wasn't too much to ask, right?
"Heh…The plan, my lady. Is for us to have fun in a romantic way."
Adam smiled as he adjusted his lens and contacted Hacker. For the date with Natasha, Adam thought about what he should do. He at first simply wanted to have something simple and cool.
But soon realized that he had changed and he could actually afford to act stupid. This was even more since he had someone who could make things far easier for him.

He chuckled and started the car,
"Initially, I wanted for us to walk a little around. Say a museum?" As surprising as it was, Natasha was an art geek. Though thankfully, she was more about old and classical art rather than more modern types. He was sure that she would have loved the exposition.
"Though seeing you, I don't know. Do you think you can walk in those shoes?"
He looked at her high heel. They were definitely beautiful and they definitely enhanced her natural beauty. But — He didn't think those things were the most comfortable shoes for walking.
"If I was a normal woman, I would curse you inside. But don't worry. I can tank explosion and powerful blast. Heels are nothing compared to this."
The car started slowly and they entered the road while discussing,
"Shouldn't you be careful about the road? I swear if this dress gets destroyed, I will punch you."
Natasha didn't fear an accident for them. In fact, only the one they hit would have to be worried. But she didn't want anything bad to happen on this day.
"Don't worry. I am paying attention."
Two of his minds were paying attention in fact. The third one was busy admiring Natasha.
"I nearly forgot, did I say that you are beautiful?"
"Heh. You may have not. But the way you gawked when I descended the stairs was more than enough."
Adam was not embarrassed by her joke. He smiled and nodded, "You blinded me. I am not good with cheesy words but you really are beautiful."
"Heh. So, did I make you fall in love with me?"
"Let's say you need to work a little harder for this. I am not an easy man you know?"
The two laughed and chuckled as the drive continued. On the way, Adam would sometimes take a look at her legs, something he could not stop himself from doing.
'Why I am acting like someone without experience?'
This was how powerful Natasha was acting on him. But he still found it rather weird how he was so excited. His temperature was increasing and so was his libido.
But shaking his head, he managed to control himself and stop his hand from reaching toward her.
It was time to start the date in earnest.

The museum exposition they reached was a special one about France and Europe in general. Adam had chosen this one because of how curious he was since he was set to go there soon.
The exposition was pretty well done all things considered and thought Adam was not a pro by any mean, thanks to his Eye of Truth, he could actually glean information from the painting directly and discuss it with Natasha.
There was no woman who would dislike a man who was knowledgeable in the topic they had the most interest in and it didn't take long for Natasha to truly glow as the two of them walked around and exchanged.
Soon, they stopped in front of a painting showing a man wearing a mask that was akin to the face of a bird as it was beak-shaped and entirely covered in black.
"Doctor Schnabel von Rom. This is a painting by Paulus Furst."
Natasha stopped in front of it, her eyes filled with contemplation. The Black Death was perhaps one of the most iconic plagues in the history of mankind.
The repercussions had been so high that it caused more deaths than many wars could have ever done.
"Did you know Adam? About the truth behind the Bubonic Plague."
"Normally, I would say it was because of rats and no sanitary protection from people. But since you asked me this…I guess the cause is more supernatural?"
"You are right. In fact, many of the great upheavals in history were caused by the supernatural. The second world war for example happened because Hitler obtained the lance of Longinus. This gave him great power over causality, making it so victory was always at his fingertips."
"Oh…"
This was definitely interesting. "What about the Black Death?"
"Witches."
She shook her head. "Witches were not happy about the witch hunt that was becoming common. So they retaliated. Then humans retaliated as well and it became worse until half the continent was contaminated."
This was the ugly history. Powerful beings fought and humans suffered.
